11th Annual KAYAK FOR KIDS Fundraising Event

2026 marks the 11th year of this important fundraising event to exclusively benefit the charity SCARS (Saving Children and Revealing Secrets). Information about SCARS can be found on their website www.scarsbermuda.com.
This event not only raises funds for SCARS but also brings awareness to the issue of child sexual abuse. There are several ways to get involved:

Participation
There are three options available. All options depart and return from the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Advanced Distance Loop – A 17-mile course for individuals and corporate team building. This is an option for those seeking adventure and a physical test. For information, click here: Advanced Distance Loop
Hinson’s Island Intermediate Paddle – An intermediate course for individual and tandem (two-seater) kayaks to paddle the inner harbour around White’s Island and back. For information, click here: Hinson’s Island Loop
White’s Island Sprint Team Relay Race – A team relay race involving four legs to and from RHADC. Each individual will take a turn doing a leg. For example, each individual from a four-person team will each paddle a leg. A two-person team will require each individual to paddle two legs interchanging at RHADC with their team member on each leg. For information, click here: Team Relay Race
To register for these events, click on the “Register Here” tab on this website. Each registered participant will receive a bright yellow shirt to wear during the event and there will be a barbeque for participants and their families at the end of the event.
